When you're as young as I am, and as old as I am, searching for your place in history, a sense of missing out on this world that's so big and so rich in complexity, having only turned into an adult in 2012 overwhelms you, trying to keep up with the references of cool, funny, wise 40 year olds. So I've been desperately clambering for the sacred knowledge of various monuments of human achievement, but I don't push my self far enough, don't travel enough or broaden my horizons enough.
